TNG, proprietor of Newtown, Decca 77, Wienstein & Gavinos and Guido’s & Angelina also announced that the company’s employees will contribute by making it into work by public transportation that day.

The restaurants will serve a low carbon footprint cocktail, created by UK’s leading mixologist, Richard Woods and specially designed menus for the event.  Earth Hour cocktail proceeds for the hour will go to WWF.

“By helping to support Earth Hour, our team of people and restaurants joins WWF and millions of ordinary people and organizations across the globe in the world’s largest and fastest growing climate awareness campaign. The support and creative ideas from management, staff and guests of our restaurants has been incredible and we are proud to be involved,” explains Brian Bendix, CEO of the hospitality company Stambac International Inc.

This is SOOOO COOL !!! I love the ambience that it will give, and it’s just for an hour at the very minimum. It’s hot!
“Less power – not powerless” is reasonable and i deeply respect that pledge. Sad that not many restaurants pledged you can tell by the events map that not many did.
