Introducing…a new sweet way to support WWF’s Schools for a Living Planet!

This holiday season, Lindt & Sprüngli Canada is supporting WWF-Canada’s Schools for a Living Planet education program with chocolate! WWF’s Schools for a Living Planet program empowers educators and students of all ages with the tools and resources they need to lead us into a sustainable future. WWF has developed free, curriculum-linked lesson plans for elementary teachers to download and integrate into their classrooms. These lesson plans connect directly to conservation priorities in Canada’s forests, lakes and Arctic. Educators can take their students’ learning beyond the classroom by participating in WWF events, like the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup.

You may have already spotted these special gold or red Lindt Lindor Cornets, featuring the WWF sticker, in Loblaw banner stores across Canada (including Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore, Provigo, Atlantic Superstore, Zehrs, YIG, and Fortinos).  One dollar from every purchase of these Lindt chocolates during November and December will go to support the Schools for a Living Planet program. This is in addition to the $50,000 commitment Lindt has made to WWF as a part of this collaboration.

This is one sweet way to support WWF and help bring strong science and solutions based education resources to students across Canada!

The company purchases 100% palm oil according to the RSPO book & claim system and from 2015 onwards, only palm oil from sustainable and certified production will be used in all fillings of Lindt chocolate’
