The Sears CN Tower Climb team raised $14,000 in support of WWF-Canada – amazing!
From our hearts to yours, thank you for climbing all 1,776 steps, and supporting WWF-Canada and thank you for another landmark year.
I woke up this morning feeling somehow surprised that I had agreed to climb the CN Tower for a third year in a row (is it possible for knees to wince?). But really, when I think about it, how can I say no?
This week we sat down with Larry Duong, creator of the ‘Stair King’ Youtube video to chat to him about what inspired him to make this project.
For one family, the CN Tower Climb isn’t just an early morning workout, it’s a family vacation to Toronto as they lace up and head to Ontario’s capital for the big event.
Given a second chance at life after undergoing open heart surgery, Dave Connell of Uxbridge, ON is crossing another item off his bucket list this week as he participates in the 22nd annual WWF-Canada CN Tower Climb.
Volunteer Kathryn Busch is one of hundreds of volunteers helping us get ready for the annual CN Tower Climb, happening April 19 & 21. Like all the hard work our volunteers put into our efforts, we appreciate her very much!
Tristan Collier, a ten-year-old Toronto resident, is attempting his third go at claiming the title of the climber with the most funds raised. Having brought in an outstanding $3090 last year, Collier is going for the gold this year with an overall target of $4000.
Fundraising can be tough. Nobody likes to go door-to-door asking their friends, relatives and neighbours for money and e-mail spamming them is just as bad. With almost 7000 participants, 500 volunteers and over a million dollars raised, WWF’s 21st Annual Canada Life CN Tower climb was a huge success. And a huge thank you goes to everyone who contributed and helped spread the word.
