Seeing the ocean for the fish
In conservation, success isn’t always immediately seen through drastic increases in biodiversity protection or availability of harvestable resources. Sometimes it’s as subtle as a shift towards governance reform. But this is exactly the success WWF witnessed at last week’s annual meeting of the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization.
