A week of work I hoped would never end
Have you ever had one of those weeks at work you hoped would never end? I recently did. But of course it’s not every week I get to join researchers on a week-long expedition angling, tagging, and collecting data on Canada’s largest freshwater fish, the Lake Sturgeon (Acipenser fulvescens).

Who says you can’t make a difference from a kayak?
I have no idea what drew me to water and led to this passion to sustain and protect it over the past 20 years. Perhaps the fact that it connects us all through our dependencies on it irrespective of what we do, where we live, how much money we make, or if we ever consider it.
